Leaves and new growth of seedlings in serious trouble

Hi All,

I've looked through the forum and as best i can tell it's either:

too many nutrients
not enough P
not enough K

im confused!

pictures tell a thousand words, see below...

I stopped using nutrients, plants are about 4 weeks old and were going great then BAM...

I flushed them with just water and still no good. Have been using PH water of 6, plants are on 18/6 and 50/50mix of soil/perlite.

Any help appreciated.

It looks like heat and nute burn to me. And over watering? Tell me details on how much light and how close you keep it, how much nutritients did you give it before you flushed it and how often do you normaly water?

2 65 watt 6500 cfls about 1 inch away

Watering every 3 days or when my moisutre metre goes down to 3 or so.

I used some canna A + B thing and used strength of 1ml/L

I will just use water from now to see what happens (if it makes it)

Temp of grow room?

from seed? 1ml per litre is not much at all. So why would it be nute burn?

Get a fan in there and try to keep your room at 78 degrees lights. CFL's get hot

And how often do you feed?

Your plants are to young for deficiencies so I would agree with nici on nute burn and overwatering. If you flushed them all you can do now is give them a week or so to recover and see what going on then, but they look pretty burnt.

thanks for checking this thread out, appreciate it.

Grown from seed, i only gave them one feed, fan is in there already and temp is during day around 23-25degrees celcius.

Ok well i guess ill jsut wait and see.

One thing i thought was unusual was all the new growth was really light green to start with then darkened out, i found this a bit strange as i thought it came out looking a darker green (new shoots etc) to start with.

I think i need an automated system

Go organic next time! Dont have to feed at all through the grow and they wont burn. There are some really good mixes you can find online...if you are interested, I have mine in my grow journal as well...Good luck and keep us updated!
