I had the same problem once, and I'm 90% sure it was caused by the PH being too low. I fed them with fert that wasn't PH-adjusted, and soon afterwards, I started having that problem. I ended up flushing with some dolomite lime added, and that fixed the problem. Also, being that they've been in those same pots for 3 months, and likely never been flushed, there's a good chance that your problem is also PH.

i dont think its pH, it can cause the curling, but often times comes with a major twisting of leaves that i dont see in the pics, and some sort of lockout of a nutrient. The taco shape of the leaves rings 2 bells for me. First was heat (they will do that when they are transpiring more moisture than they should when trying to keep themselves cool) and second was magnesium (in which case the taco effect would be what they call 'praying for mag'). That could also go back to a minor pH issue though, as i once experienced a lockout of cal and mag due to pH issues, but the twisting was happening for a long time before that happened.

if you were over watering, i think the leaves would be droopy kinda like the symptoms of under watering. make sure your soil is at the proper ph. like 6.8 or a bit less.

ok i PH the water iam using remember this is an outdoor grow and i was told i did not need to worry about the ph of my city water anyway the ph show 8.7-8.9 thanks jeff

Like I said, don't write off PH, until you're sure. Even if it's not the direct cause, I bet it's related somehow, whether it be nutelock, etc....The damage looks alot like heat stress, and when mine did the same, I had a hell of a time figuring out what it was. I knew it wasn't normal heat stress, because my plants were showing that same damage, even up to 2' away from my 400 watt HPS, which is more than enough distance from the light. I've run it at 12" before, with no problems. So, whether it was a deficiency, a PH problem, or both, I'm not sure. All I can say, is that if they haven't been flushed in 3 monhts, it'd be wise to do it now, because there's a very good chance that you're PH is low. That soil has been decomposing for quite awhile, so it's almost guaranteed to have gone acidic, by now. At any rate, your plant will appreciate the nice clean medium, giving it a fresh start.

Jawbrodt,
This is an outdoor grow NOT under no artificial light just outdoors and the temps the last week are 70-78 Deg. iam not ruling out Ph but been growing for 3 years now and never had this. only thing differance is new nutes tis year Maxsea nutes before was faxfarm. thanks for your help guys. jeff

Damn THC.lol

Anyway,...I had the exact same problem about 6 months ago, inside, and it ended up being a PH, issue. It'd be a good idea to flush it, then give it a little fresh fert. Maybe add some lime too. :)

again, COULD be pH, but iam betting thats not a direct issue. peoples advice is still the same though, get a good flush, give her a day or 2, see how she responds.

Ok Thanks to all for your help after lowering the PH from 8.7-8.9 to 6.5 and flushing the 20 gallon pot with 10-15 gallons of ph'ed water the leaves are uncurling :) from now on i will only give my plants ph 6.5 water the rest of the plants look greener and healthier. thanks for the help guys heres some pics of the same plant and leaf. jeff
P.S. i will get some dolomite lime today and a special thanks to Jawbrodt & Klosetking
