LED lighting question

Hey guys how's it going? Long story short I am planning my first indoor grow after a few successful harvest outdoors. After weeks of research, and quite frankly being quite overwhelmed, I have learned that COB lights are where it's at. I know the cheap blurple lights kinda suck but I am curious as to what you guys think of a hybrid grow light with COBs & 5w diodes in one panel? Is something from Timberlights still going to just blow the doors off of it?

The hybrid light I speak of is the Optic 6 LED with CREE COBs & blurple lights. Thoughts?

Appreciate the feedback

Calm down man. Things move slow on riu. Were all stoned. Id suggest putting this in indoor growing under leds and other lighting

Im not too surprised. Maybe he had a bad day maybe hes just impatient who knows im not worried about it. Ill help anybody whos got the cahones to start growing some weed in their closet lol. Just dont know much about led.

My bad guys. Im brand new to the site lol
its cool man, early on here i wanted to be the same way a couple times. You see your threads been viewed 100 times and nobody says shit lol. You get used to it. It usually gets a reply sooner or later and i try to check through the plant problem and noob area every once in a while to find the lost threads and give them a bump cause i know the pain lol. But if you give attitude like that your a lot less likely to get a response.

Cobs will be your best bet... Can you grow some pretty good weed with the Chinese LEDs? Absolutely.

I can't attest to HIDs vs blurple vs cobs but I know for sure my girls are looking dank under 2 600w viparspectra's Chinese leds.

If you are talking cobs and can afford em I'd just go that route.

Iv got a COB light from perfect sun and it seems to be working pretty well. this is my first grow with it im at week 6 with 12 lotus larrys in 3 gallons

Im going to flip them a bit earlier next time and go with 2 gallon and get a few more in the tent. I have my light on a light mover and have it less then 6 inches from the top of the plants.

Cobs work well but are pretty pricey, mine has the blue and red 5 w diodes too. 620 watt total

The perfect suns work pretty well i have a ps 1000 and a ps Cob and a three spectrum king 400 plus.
I had a bit of trouble with burnt out bulbs on the ps 1000 but the fella who runs the company sent me out a new light and let me keep the defective for parts. but seeing how it works 80% i just use it for veg.

not cheap but seem to be working pretty well. I still havent broke the 1 g a watt mark.
maybe next grow.
@Nick1987 I run MANY different brands to review and test lifted led is one I've liked here lately but diy cobs are the best bet. I run over 6000 watts of LEDs and all including my old reef tank LEDs grow just some are better than others.

Check the diy fourm ull find plenty of diy cob setups and whatnot. Thats the route im going. A little research and a bit of mechanical mind youll be fine
