LED Makers?!?!

Its Middle of 2014 and Led has come along way. As of now Cree could stand as #1 in making leds, 3590's look real promising. What would be your top 5 Led chip makers to name a few Osram, Epistar, Nichia, Philips, Bridgelux, SSC, Korea Epivalley.

I've been using epistars for growing salad greens, basil, chili peppers. Truth be told the results surprised me pleasantly for the price per diode. I would definitely recommend them to beginners looking to get into DIY and LED panels. I just buy most of my stuff from aliexpress and I have a multitude of cheap ass functional 20w panels that I tried in different setups.
