Legality questions

So i ordered seeds from herbies. They were sent on Feb 26. In their despatch email they told me it should take 5-10 working days.. they still haven't arrived. They also said to contact them if I hadn't received them by March 20th.

Anyways I've read several "local" stories of people getting knock and talks after customs seized their order. (They never received the package at all) I'm starting to worry I'm next so I'm preparing disposal if I don't have them within a few days.

I'm just curious to what they could get me for if I kept my tent up and going however only had fruits and veggies in it? I know laws vary but my paranoia refuses to say my location. I'm just curious if they would be able to tie my tent to those seeds if I had no evidence of growing mj other than the package they intercepted?

If they don't come within the next few days I will be burning my 5 plants(they're 2 weeks old or less so rather small).. bleaching the ashes then flushing down the toilet.(I don't have a septic tank)

I know people say to not use your address etc.. noob mistake and I'll probably be grabbing a po box after this.

I would imagine these are just bullshit stories. With the amount of traffic US customs ports get on a daily basis I doubt they have time to report Joe Schmo for buying seeds to a local PD. I've been reading forums for years and have never heard of anyone investigated for having their seeds seized at customs. Just hang in there and if they don't show up email the sender.

I'll post the link to you for a specific case. Anyways there's no tracking number.. herbies said there wasn't going to be one because they have had ran into trouble with those.

Don't open your door for a "knock and talk". Simple as that. If they go to get a warrant, then you dispose of your plants.

Yeah 6 years is a long time but I'm not sure that means they have lightened up since. Can anyone just answer the question on whether they can tie my grow equipment?

I have had several packages confiscated from the infamous "Chicago" ICS and never had a single knock at the door. They don't have the manpower nor the funding to go after every single person who they grab seed orders from. Don't sweat it, just get a re-order and change the name on the order and the location, also I don't recommend stealth shipping. The only order's I get now are non stealth. They seem to be looking for shirts and mugs and candy tins. My experience anyway...Goodluck

Pretty optimistic I would say. First you have to get 3 major federal organization's to admit they were wrong about MJ being a Class 1 Substance and lifting it from the category. Followed by all kinds of other federal and state bureaucracy. I know the feds have said to leave it to each state but another problem is some of the states "which MAY or may not include my own" have some real uptight motherfuckers for governors who vow no type of MJ will be allowed on their watch whether it be medical or recreational. Which is total fucking BS because people need it. Instead they would rather us swallow handfuls of deadly pills that is much harder on the body and can even be lethal. Fuck em! I hope you are right for the sake of a lot of people!!

Not really, they don't have to admit anything trust me. They'll want the money being generated by it all. 3.5 million in taxes were collected by Colorado in the first month of legalization. It's coming, trust me, they love money and power!

Yes, if your lawyer is any good he or she can answer this for you. I personally would not worry about it but I'm pretty high and feeling pretty optimistic about most everything right now.
