I am no expert with lighting and stuff but i can do the average things. Coming here to ask as long as my lights are on a power strip and something catches fire.. Will it trip the power strip off?

If it already caught fire than no. it's much easier to chain lights together than to just plug them into power strips

If something catches fire it's cuz the power strip wasn't doing it's job by tripping, the only other case in which it wouldn't be the power strip is if there was some bare wire touching eathother

Uh..I might worry if you are using a cheap power strip. Check the fine print on the back of it, those cheap ones are only designed to be safely used a few hours at a time. Invest in a GOOD power strip if you want to be safe from fires.
