light socket

i was wondering what you can use for a light socket for a large cfl like 100 wts?

Welcome to the forum. You need a Mogul base. May need a ballast as well. VV

Just plug it in to wall works fine is only 100 watts like in your living room or somewhere.

You need a ceramic holder for bulb though.

You don't need ballast for a cfl.

It is low watts low heat low problemo.

most lamps can only take up to 60 watts though
