Hmmm...Another thing I forgot all about I guess :?

Vegetative growth is usually done in either 18/6 (18 hours on, 6 off) or 24/0. Both have their advantages, to start 18/6 has the obvious advantage of less power consumption. Some also claim that 18/6 makes for less stress to the plant, night being the rest period...also root growth period. 24/0 however usually claims faster growth, I personally find that 24/0 does produce faster growth...but I also use 18/6 because I'm in no particular hurry :neutral: Again though 24/0 produces faster growth but consumes more power, makes for more heat, and burns the bulb that little bit faster.

Flowering is done with 12/12 lighting, there aren't too many options on this one. There have been people trying weird 6:40/12 (on/off) light schedules trying to speed things up, but the results simply don't compare to the good old 12/12 schedule :mrgreen:
