i started flowering about a week ago and i dont have a timer... and i have no money to buy one.. lost my job haha... i have been trying to keep the light pretty even i think its been more like 13 hours light 13 hours dark.. i know thats more than 24 hours but i turn on at 9am turn off when i go to sleep.. 11 then on again when i wake up... like 11 its close to 12 but its never exact... is it okay as long as i keep it dark long enough?

Wait, what? I don't think I understood your light schedule there...

The plants need 12 hours of uninterrupted dark...are they getting that? And yeah 13/13 is just impossible my friend, if you're giving them 13/13, you're shortening the NEXT days time.....

Home Improvement stores often have heavy duty timers on sale for $3-$4 dollars. Or look in the $0.25 bin at the Goodwill.

Remember what you are doing. You are trying to replicate the short days of fall. So having only 12 hours of daylight is important. it doesn't have to be exact, but should be close. How far you can stray from that and still be fine depends on your strain and other variables like how much stress the plants have, etc.

If it were me and I just couldn't get a timer? I would make an effort to stick to 12/12 even if that meant getting my ass out of bed for a few minutes at the proper time. Besides, you don't have a job, make an effort.
