2 -400 might cost a little more. MORE LIGHT = BIGGER BUDS and PLANTS! maybe even side lighting? (increases yields by at least 20%)

...talk about procrastination...lol...well if you're serious, it depends on how big your grow area is and how many plants you wana grow...with HIDs you want around 100w or better per plant...good luck...

And I guess what I would do is seriously get them all and have 2-400w flower rooms and 1-600w veg room so I could do my perpetual grow...that's what I have now is 5 rooms...well 1 is for curing...1 CFL sprout/clone/quarantine (for bugs and disease) 1-4,000w veg room and 2-4,000w flower rooms...so ya I'd get as many as possible...

hmm 800 overall watts over a larger area, or 600w over a smaller area, guess that depends on how big of a room. two 400w could pose heating issues in a smaller area, while one 600 wouldn't adequately light a larger room

so were talkin 15sq ft...for 8 plants...mmm 4 maybe, and a 600w would be fine for a LST/SCROG...cause you only need the light to hit the top...

I just found it funny, you know, it's a "at the moment when you have a fresh buz" kinda funny...I guess you had to be in my head 
...most ppl that's been hear that long have a vast amount of knowledge on most subjects...I've only been hear a year and this is what I've done...

The 2 400s are the obvious choice. If you could perhaps get 2 600s. 2 400s will work for 8 plants but its stretching it, if you can put 2 600s for your 8 girls man you will notice a considerable difference. You have a thick canopy over your plants with the training you did so 2 600s will be better for light penetration. Good Luck
