Where would I get a good deal on a air cooled reflector for my 1000 watter. The old white magnetic one. I'm looking for real good prices not 200 dollars like the hydro store is asking. Is that possible? thanks....

If you can cut sheet metal or can get some 6" or so round ducting ( home dept or HVAC supply house) you could always DIY it. That's how I get all my grow equipment. I just make what I can. Except bulbs n ballasts. Even then I got my last magnetic 400w ballast from a second hand store for $5.00! And my grow cabs, reflective material, and just about everything else from jobsite materials, always with good results.... That's just how I do things. I'm cheap, in the good ways!!

i get most of my gear from e-bay. you can pick up a nice one for under $100.00.

you need 8" tube for a 1000watt, I would look on ebay for a used one. You need a new one, a used one is just as good as long as it's in good shape, not cracks, defects.
The pyrex glass tube is a bread tube, but there expensive if you were to make a DIY cool tube.
