Looking For Help....

Hi. I'm new to this forum, and I hope someone on here can help me with something. My fiance' has RSDS (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome), a chronic pain disease that affects her sympathetic nervous system, that she sustained in a really bad car accident about 10 years ago (which wasn't her fault). She's had more than a dozen paravebral sympathetic nerve blocks in her spinal cord; has been hospitalized several times for 3-day epidural drips; countless sessions of physical therapy; and has to be heavily medicated with strong opioid drugs to get any kind of relief, all of which has been virtually unsuccessful. This past March, she was in, yet again, another car accident (AGAIN not her fault). Four days later, our 200lb mastiff, who was afflicted with a brain tumor, attacked her and mauled her left forearm, requiring her to have get several surgeries to repair her arm and re-attach the muscles and tendons. She's in soooo much pain everyday, and I hope and pray for her to find some relief. She smokes pot to help alleviate some of her symptoms, but I can't seem to find her a strain that's strong enough. She admits that it helps, but that it only helps her to "forget that she's experiencing pain at the moment." I really need to find her something stronger and that lasts longer.

Hash, mon frer. Hash. It will mess up a tolerance, but it will also be a better medication for your girl. Hope you live in a friendly state where the pharmacy for her is a legit store so you have options. Either way, try some hash (bubble hash, might I suggest) or maybe even a strong edible depending on how she is looking to feel. Hope I helped.

what equipment do you have and what experience do you have? for growing...

one very common, potent and easy to grow = ak47 from serious seed co. found at the attitude.
If money is tight try ak 48 from nirvana seeds.

Have they tried anything like Neurontin or Lyrica? These are two drugs, if given in high doses, relieves nerve pain. As far as MMJ, look for strains with high CBD percentages as these cannabanoids are reported to relieve nerve pain. Hope you find the right combo..nerve pain is something I deal with daily as well.

She's allergic to Lyrica, and Neurontin gave her terrible migrianes. She's been on Gabitril for a number of years, and it doesn't seem to do anything. Her body has built up a resistance to almost all drugs designed to help with nerve pain..... Because the RSDS affects her left foot and ankle, doctors tell her that unless they find some alterative treatments she hasn't tried before, and/or a cure for the disease, there's a good chance that she may not be able to walk at all by the time she turns 50. All the research about the disease has proven that physical activity and excerise, especially aquatics, can help her from a lifetime of misery. That's why I feel its so important that, as long as she's not experiencing a great deal of pain, she can keep it moving. Thank for the advice. I will look for higher CBD %s.... I honestly didn't know that CBD would be so helpful. And, get well and feel better. : )

I have a small indoor space using a 400watt mh for veg, and a 1000watt hps for flowering.... I have a strain started with one mother and about 15 clones, and for the life of me, I can't remember what strain it is... lol The seeds were given to me by a close friend a couple of years ago, and I decided to start growing my own since losing investments when the economy crashed. I've seen the AK 48 strain, and I've sampled AK 47..... Thanks for the advice.

also cannatonic from ceres seeds (maybe???) has been tested as one of the best cbn:cbd ratios available commercially (i think it is near 1:1) with low teens thc making it a fairly awesome medicinal choice... hash and bubble (earwax ect) consistently test high in the 40-75% thc range... for pain and others it may prove to be the best available option... from one patient to another, your best bet is to grow your limit, smoke what you want and turn the rest into hash (or powdered trichomes which will keep longer) and make your own tinctures with what remains... if you grow organically, medically, ect you should have maximum control over your partners pain issues... good luck...

I forgot to mention some other drugs that are effective for nerve pain. If she isn't prone to addiction; alot of Benzodiazepines act on the same Gabba receptors as Neurontin and Lyrica and may have the benefit of relaxing her simultaniously. Also, some of the older Tri-cyclic Anti Deppressants are effective. Maybe pool therapy is an option too...
