Looking For Some Suggestions With Outdoor Growing

Hey guys,

My brother and I finally got around to getting some plants going for this summer. I had 8 seeds i sprouted indoors but a unexpected freak snowfall ruined them the next day. We had another 3 going inside and 1 made it and its female.

The female has been succesfully transplanted outside with some nice soil and it took off id say its about 24 inches high now.

Were looking to do some outdoor clones and hope that they yield some half decent buds along with the mother female when its harvest time. I live in South eastern ontario and last year I don't recall seeing frost until late October. So i should have atleast 3 months for the clones to grow. Can anyone share an of there experiences with cloning outside this time of year and how it worked out?

Also once the clones are ready to be transplanted I am wondering what kind of additives I should be mixing in with the soil to get the best results and where I could get them. Ive hear bone meal for starters.

Finally for now, I have a few spots on the leafs that look like aphids or something have been chewing. Is there any insecticides I can buy at homedepot/walmart that arent going to be harmful or ruin the taste of the bud.

Other then that the plant is doing great. Ill post some pictures later!

As long as your plants are still in veg you can clone them. For all outdoor pests I use something called Scoot and you can but it at any TSC store in Ontario. Just mix it 50/50 and spray it on...it grows out with tiime and will not affect the finished product. This is not really an insecticide but I never have any problems with bugs! Use pro-mix in your holes and a good quality fert with trace elements.....Good Luck!

Thanks ronnie, the insects didn't end up being to bad. This plant was my first baby, the experiment child, next year i'm going bigger and I will pick up some scoot. Didnt bother with the cloning but the one plant turned out a pretty good yield for my first plant. I weighed 4.5 oz last night after a really good trim but its not completely dry so I will likely end up with just over 4 oz. I think I could have let it grow longer, were not expecting frost for a couple more weeks but it looked done and was starting to droop over pretty badly under its own weight.

Here is a link to some before and after pictures of the harvest for anyone thats interested. The grow site pictures were on my ell so not very good, they were taken about 3 or 4 weeks before harvest.
