Lowryder 2 grow

This is just a log for me to keep track of, i dont have a camera so i will have no pics, but any comments are appreciated.

Today i started germing 6 Lowryder #2 seeds. I will check tomorrow morning for sprouts. I will also soon be starting a G13 Armageddon grow. This is also my second grow, my first was hit and miss trial and error, i started with unknown cuttings, and too late in the season with not enough light to survive.

Great. I started germing via paper towel method, and keeping it heated with a light, (not for light) but the lamp itself gets very hot

well, the light heating is out the window, so i am currently at about 12 hours, and just put a space heater with the lowest setting underneath for heat, none have cracked yet

about 22 hours in now, still none have cracked, ive raised the heat for my babes, i also have decided on an outdoor grow. The most available soil i have is somethin like 8-14-8 around there

Great news, so far at about 24 hours in, 5/6 have sprouted, just a tiny little bit, but enough to know they have cracked.

Made great advancements today, all 6 sprouted, i planted all them in 6 cups with holes in the bottom, then i placed them in a rubbermaid tub with two holes cut in the top for lights, i bought two lamps today that came with 2 13w bulbs, so i'll prob be havin my lowryders indoors for maybe two weeks then move it out.

I got great deals on everything.
Rubbermaid tub(68 L): $6
45 L of .1-.1-.1 soil (Huge damn bag): $5
2 lamps with 2 13w CFL's: $10 each

Total with tax: $40
And where did i find all these fine products? why at London Drugs of course.

I also partially lined the tub with aluminum foil (I have no mylar), i then watered the cups and placed in tub, waiting for leaves to sprout.

Well i returned my two lamps today, they were retarded cause only took specialty CFL's, so after returning fo my money, i went to Rona, where i picked up:

2 Y-sockets
2 Outlet connectors
4x23w bulbs
Roll of duct tape

So im connecting the bulbs to the two Y-sockets, then those to the outlet connectors, then those two to an extension cord, suspended in my Rubbermaid tote, only problem now is i already made two previous holes in the lid from my lamps, so im disputing how im gonna put em in. Great progress today, still waiting for seeds to turn to plant

Ok great stuff today, i noticed two of my seeds have seedlinged, but unfortunatley i noticed one of my seeds resting on top of the soil, it must have upturned while watering, i have four CFL's in there hanging just above the cups, in an X shape. more to come

well, so far i have four seedlings!, one seed may not make it, and i am waiting hopeful, there are on 18/6 right now, gonna get a lock and ph tester, and + - ph, i also started germin 3 G13 seeds yesterday! look for my other journal

one of my seedlings is superceeding the others, and is growing is first set of true leaves, i have named her (hopefully) Big Tex

I just wanted you to know that ,you have answered all my questions about CFL with your posts!
I do think you need more CFL's though.
Get 2 or 4 42 watt CFL's and your buds and yield will be good!
