lowryder/autoflower light Q

Hey all, got a question about the lowryder strain. I'm about to begin on a PC grow using LST and I have about 18 inches of height to grow in.

Question is though, with a lowryder autoflowering strain, what are the requirements/recommendations for lighting. Do I want to start with veg lights and finish with flowering like a usual grow, do I want just flowering lights in, or do I want a mix? Or any other combo also let me know. Thanks

I go HPS all the way but it's your call. Most recomend 18-20 hrs a day lighting but I have run 12 hrs (in bud rm w/ others)
best advice I can give is DEEP pots as soon as sprouted. they seem to throw a taproot down deep and my first attempts using shallow pots gave me short plants. even starting in cups and moving to deep pots after they showed sex didnt help much. my last attempt,I started in 12 in pots and got plants about 18 in when done & that was w/ 12 hr lightcycle-prior tries were only 8-12 in when done.-all were LR2 crossed to LRdiesel
