Lucas formula strength.

So I know the Lucas formula calls for 8ml of Flora Nova bloom per gallon. Is this really possible for all stages of growth?

Also I hear that with the Lucas formula you don't have to flush, any thoughts?

I ask because I can only fit two reservoirs in my flowering area but would still like to harvest every two weeks. So if this is possible I would be thrilled.

The Lucas formula goes against every thing I thought I knew. It sounds to good to be true but I can hope.

Lucas formula is not flora nova, that's a different product. Lucas formula is using GH 3 part but excluding the grow at a rate of 8m16b per gallon. The flora nova happens to just come out to the same thing. Yes you can us it for all stages of growth.

I understand Jfreak, I'm just using nova for simplicity.

So I can take my rooted clones and put them straight in to 5ml per gallon of nova? Then move them to flower under my hps and straight in to 8ml per gallon?

Lucas Formula works for all stages of growth. However, I would base more on ppm/ec than ml / gal ust in case a mistake happens. So, something like 200ppm for clones moving up to 1000ppm for peak bloom.

I agree - get a ppm-meter. I know it's a bit expensive, but it's REALLY worth it. I never change my water after getting it. Now i just ad more water or ferilizer depending of the strength. When you don't have a meter - after a couple of weeks you just don't have a clue how potent your fertilizer mix is. Some water will vape away making the concentration stronger - plants will eat some of the fertilizer. It's just not easy without the ppm-meter and you would have to change water a lot of times to keep it where you want it. Just get it - you almost NEED it.

Edit: I use Luca's Formula as well - and my bud is as fine as can be ;O)

Thanks for the tips, I've got an ec meter. I'm just wondering if plants weeks apart can thrive in the same res.

No problem. Very nerdy growers will probably disagree. I have my vegging set up with ec 1.0 and budding 2.0 - i take clones directly into the vegging on 1.0 and then move them into the flowering room after a couple of weeks. My sativas go straight from cloner and into 2.0 - they start growing in there after a couple of weeks. First they build up roots - then they start growing. I know that some plants could be overfed like this, but for some reason this works like a charm for me.
