make them grow more out then up..

just wondering how do i make the plants grow more out then up, trying not to have anything to tall...

Bend the branches down so it grows outwards then upwards

can't you tie down the leaves or something like that?

You'll rip the leaves off.
Just bend the branches. Not near the stalk but, towards the ends of the branches, use one finger and just press it down a bit.
I did this to mine and all the branches now stick out and the ends are now growing upwards but, away from the plant.

not really sure if you started them growing outwards and not so much up.. but other ppl gave me some thoughts, so thanks all

whats the earliest you canh top a plant?

depends how many nodes you want when youre done and how tall you want the plant to be. you can top it once it has enough leaves to support the loss of the top without being stressed too much. im guessing theres no set rules as different strains will have varying recovery times and will react to topping in different ways. the plant i showed in my first post was topped as well as lst'd:


im just a noob though so you may want to wait for a answer from one of the pros.
