Go to Home Depot get yourself some green fiberglass filter cut it, I do three layers tape them together and then Super glue them directly so the vent works perfect
I got dust and fibers everywhere when I tried this a few years back. Maybe I used the wrong filters because mine were blue. But as soon as I started cutting, the coating on the fibers started flying everywhere. Tried to get the majority with the shopvac, but it still ended up all over my grow area for weeks.

When I cut it into pieces it did make a little mess but that was it, haven't seen any pieces anywhere in my grow tent for sure

I mean maybe if I would have put them on the inside of my grow tent... but I haven't noticed a mess on the outside either

These vent caps work great too. I stretch black pantyhose over the outer facing side and to filter dust and haven’t had any issues with them.

That definitely looks a lot better than mine. Great job. Mine's permanent because it got super glued but it works great it's completely light tight pitch black when lights are off inside the tent and it gets great ventilation so no need to change mine but whatever works

@TreeFarmerCharlie fire thanks for link this next run I really wanna have least amount of particulates in the room my dog sheds a lot was a bitch last round buds were fire even tho pulled early just had hairs on some buds was annoying
Pull some nylons/pantyhose over them and it will help a lot. I have a dog, two cats, and live on a small farm, so the amount of dust and dander in my house is out of control. I'm grossed out every time I pull off the nylons to clean them, which is when the plants first go into veg and when I flip them into flower, because they are just caked in dust and dander. I very rarely find even a single hair on my bud, but I also try to keep the dog and cats out of the room my tent is in as much as possible.
