Hey, I'm a fairly new grower (my first plant died after four days, this is my second plant) and I've been experiencing some problems.
My plant is 1 month and 2 weeks old. The emboritic leaves first turned yellow and fell off, like, after the first month (which I've read was normal so it didn't worry me too much at first). Then the first set of leaves started to turn yellow and fell off as well. After that the second set are now starting to turn yellow and now I'm starting to get worried. Also, I see some of the tips of the other leave, some further at the top, starting to turn yellow or burnish.
At first I didn't give my plant nothing but rainwater since it first sprouted. Then after that I didn't really give it nothing (because I was going to attempt to go organic but just could find the right stuff to use so was still trying to find the right thing). But then my first set of leaves started to turn yellow and then I figured it needed nitrogen so I sprinkled a good amount of Miracle Gro Organic Blood Meal (12-0-0) on the top of the plant and then add a even layer of soil over it. Now, my second set of leaves are starting to turn yellow so I had to give it one fourth measure of the water soluable All Purpose Miracle Gro plant food (24-8-16), even though I didn't wanted to use it because it wasn't organic (and I heard so much growers recommending not to use it). Now I was going to wait and see, but I'm getting more and more worried because those tips are still yellowing.
So what do you guys think the problem is (because I think it was that the plant was needing nutrients so it was pulling it from the leaves)?
