MaxiSeries GHE feeding chart.

Hello everybody,

Sorry to ask about this, i've searched before.
I've lost the table which was stapled on the packaging, so i've made a search on internet.
Here is my problem. I've found 2 tables, who are quite differents.

maxigrow2.jpg

I count in liters and grams. I'm running an RDWC.
So i've made the conversion in red in the first table. A teaspoon is 6grams when i weigh it. Am i wrong somewhere?

Thanks everybody!

i dont use a feed chart.

if you have a good scale, measure out 1 gram of maxigro and add it to a gallon of water. then measure your EC.

let's say it's 0.2EC per gram. so if you want an EC of 1, you'd add 5 grams.

you need to use your EC meter to see how to feed your plants, not a chart. the chart has no idea if your plant is hungry, too much food or just the right amount.

here's a general mix rate i kinda follow:
0.2 0.3 seedlings
0.6 early veg
1.2 rest of veg most of bloom
0.6 last few weeks of bloom

and finally, you don't really need anything else with maxigro and maxibloom. maybe keep a bottle of cal/mg on hand just in case

That is the most simple chart i've read so far. Thanks very much for that!! Just to be sure. When you talk in gallon, this is US gallon?
When we talk about EC, all the conductimeter are the same, while the ppm meters are all differents? Am i right?

You're saying 1.2 most of bloom while GHE says 1.4-2.2... You are never going farther then 1.2?

yes, sorry a US gallon. i guess you are in EU so measure out 1 gram into a 4L container to get your EC per gram in metric system.
and yes, that's why I prefer EC. EC is EC there is no worryign about what ppm and what ppm conversion factor you use.

i prefer to see my EC drop slightly each day, that way you know the plant is eating. if it goes up daily, your feed is too strong.

Ok i understand that. EC goes down and PH goes up whil the nutrients are eaten by the plants.
Sorry to ask again but you're saying 1.2 most of bloom while GHE says 1.4-2.2... You are never going farther then 1.2?

try a max of 1.2 and see what you think. i don't want to sell you more nutrients like GHE does.

your roots will have food available to eat 24 hours a day. less is more with dwc/ rdwc.

Thanks a lot for that advice.
When comes the time to do a 50/50 maxigro/maxibloom. How i dose my conductivity. Does a gram of Maxigrow = a gram of Maxibloom in conductivity?

anytime.

is should be different EC for each product. measure them both if you want to get it right.

and just so you know, alot of people run the maxibloom from start to finish. i've been using maxigro off and on for vegging and i'm still not sure it's better than bloom for veg. .

this will be really good for you to experiment with: see what you think works better for your plants/setup. gro, then 1/2 and 1/2, then bloom. or just bloom. or some other combination. 1/3 gro, 2/3 bloom maybe??

Yes i've read that, derivate from the Lucas formula and other KISS method, some are using only the Maxibloom. And other prefers use both.
For a first try in RDWC i will use the both of them.
My goal is to feel myself more confident with hydro. Have only grown in organic for the moment.

i started off with Lucas 11 years ago. i've messed around with a few different nutes and i alwasy come back to Lucas or close to it. it's a really good mix for cannabis.

Sorry to up this again.
I did a little comparaison between what i've found for the FloraSerie Tripart (FloraMicro, FloraBloom, FloraGro)
I did the conversion in the bottom table from ml/ US Galon --> ml/L.
I dont get it :wall:
