may be a problem

whats up every one
i have many plants outside that have like 2 weeks left. on 3 or 4 tops of the colas the bud just turned brown and dried up and kind of rotted off.its not the whole bud just like the top half inch. any help on what this is and what i can do would be appreciated.

Your plant is a leper. I heard they put those things on an island all by themselves in isolation. Just kidding, started sounding like bud rot, but I've never had bud rot on the top 1/2 inch of the plant. Whenever I got it it was on established buds on the plant. Any insects on it? Cause I haven't a clue.

Search your buds for little caterpillars they burrow inside your buds and do exactly what your describing...just look inside the buds for their shit...dont be afraid to dig into the bud a little with your fingers...it will do alot less damage than those damn bugs.

right on time.

i checked my journal from last year. they started showing up this week last year. the moths come in at night. they lay eggs on the edges of the top colas. the eggs hatch and the tiny little caterpillar burrows his way into the very center of the bud. nothing can get to him here. he is safe to destroy your most prized cola. they burrow down the center of the stalks and by the time you notice it's to late. look for random dead leaves in the middle of otherwise healthy colas. follow the leaf down into the bud and start digging. he's in there. you can often follow the poop trail. as was mentioned, don't be afraid to spread it apart. they bury themselves well. i would thoroughly go over all my plants and check very closely for dead leaves.

how can i get rid of these things

there r poop pellits every where. how can i get rid of these little critters.i have a couple dozen 5 ft ers 2 weeks away that neen some help.

i sprayed them with some three in one shit for veg and fruits yesterday. todat i went in the garden and found like 5 of those 1 1/2 in green bud munching catapillar geting so stoned from eating my buds he couldnt even move. lets hope this spray shit works if not i might have to have an early harvest.

i sprayed them with this stuff that kills insects and catapillars made for fruits and vegetables. i went out there a little bit ago and theres just more catapillars eating my buds.


fdd if your out there or any body who knows how to get rid of these bud eaters your help would be greatly appreciated. ive been thinking of harvesting early even though they need another two weeks
