merle's blueprint

Hi, This is just basically an idea for a future grow. I always wanted to do a l.e.d. grow for my own research. So I'm going to get a U.F.O. when I do my taxes. Lets get to the ideas. If I did the attachments right iv, included a rough "blueprint". I plan on doing autoflower strains in this setup. Have not decided on what one yet.

Size: 4'5"H X 1'8"W X 1'3"D (approx)

Light: UFO hidhut

Materials: Dowel rods or pvc plumbing pipe, some wire, 10 gal tote(tub), One of these two: tarp or cardboard, a small wooden block, 4 computer fans, two jars of active carbon, air pump and stone or milk gallon containers and dirt, wire rack, velcro if you go with tarp idea, duct tape or two sided tape for cardboard.

Details: Ill start with the chamber. Now there are of course two differences with hydro and soil so i got two ideas. the first is just a simple bubble ponics setup with 6 places for plants. Do your research for how to build it its not hard. On the lid though at each of the corners drill a hole for a dowl rod. Have two holes drilled 1/8 on the end put a pin in one hole the lid in the middle and a pin on the 2nd hole and it should hold the pin in place(i for got to draw it if you want a pic ask). If you are doing soil
just cut out around the lid and leave enough plastic for the dowl rods or you can use pvc pipe as well whatever is cheaper I guess.

On to the top of this rig lol: I think Im going to take a block of wood and just drill a hole on each side big enough to slide the dowl rods through. That should give support and give area to hand the UFO.

The outside! Its is going to be either tarp or cardboard (mylared out on the inside of course), using computer fans two on each parallel side going same direction(in/out). The out is going to be homemade carbon filters with built in fan(lol) my own design. I drew it on the pic. The idea is though that the bottle of active carbon in the fish isle is a little bigger than a fan. Just cut out fan holes on parallel sides, glue scotts towl on the insides of the holes, drill some screw holes for the fan on the bottle, screw fan and bottle together, and put carbon back in bottle.

Just the idea. I know im skipping detail but when I start to build this I will post pics(plus im getting bored with typing). later merle , oh and please ask questions. or any cool ideas hit me up(thinking about putting in a webcam lol to check all the everything out with out messing with it alot and to watch it grow.)

Ok so iv decided to do a very small grow with cfls and then after the first of the year when the taxes get back UFO and Iv thought up a bad ass idea with side lighting with the cfls. This is just keeping me busy till i get the bigger grow going. Be using 600whps on that but this will be good experimentation. This one is small but for personal smoke hell ya!!! I have decided to go with the cardboard construction for stealth. They look like boxes used for moving when they are in the closet. lol hopfully in the next week I will get pics with a custom light set up I thought up one day. It will be worth seeing. till all the cool stuff here are two pics.
