The NY Yankees have been leading the AL East for the majority of the season.
On May 27th, they were 7 games up on TB Rays and 8 games up on the Blue Jays, but recently they have been on a bit of a slide.
The Blue Jays just beat the Yankees "four in a row" in Toronto, which were all very exciting games and now lead the AL east
With no rest the Yankees now have to go play the NY Mets, who are in a bit of a slump themselves......this should be an interesting series

The Blue Jays have been playing much better than most would have expected as they currently have the best record in the entire MLB.
The Yankees have been struggling and are 5.5 games back in the AL east.
The Detroit Tiger are really stumbling but are still leading the AL central due to their huge lead over second place Cleveland.
Houston has a firm lead in the AL west, but Seattle has had a decent year so far.
The Mets and Philly are in a heated back and forth battle in the NL east, flip of a coin as to which one will prevail.
The Brewers are doing very well and are leading the NL central but the Cubs are biting at their heals, another very tight race.
The Dodgers have been in a bit of a slump lately but are still maintaining a firm lead in the NL west.
