Molasses, Nutes, PPM and pH?

Justy a quick question about how to setup my "brew" properly

So Im in soil, 5 weeks into flower

What I do is usually give my plant a litre of water/nutes.

1)So put a liter of water in the cup
2)then I set my nutrient level to desired PPMs
3)then I boil some water, add the proper ratio of molasses to the mix, (usually 1tsp for ~4 litres or whatever) lets say 1 quarter teaspoon of molasses

4)THEN my pH to 6.6-6.8?

I just notice that after i add molasses the ppm rating goes to like 1500...is this normal?
And is this the proper order?
