Molasses???

Im not posotive, but i think you wait untill the last week to use mollasses. As for the pH, head to your local hydro store, find some pH DOWN, that should do it. Ive also heard of citrus juices being used to lower pH, and baking soda to rise it, but you should look it up yourself. Plant looks awesome!

Lemon juice works in a pinch to lower pH but wont help lower the pH of your medium. Sulphur is your best bet to lower the pH of your medium. And molasses for fat buds is more myth than actual fact...its good for feeding bennies when brewing teas but not the best thing to be adding to your medium on a regular basis.

I use Grandma's Molasses from Walmart. They sell it in the grocery section for about 3 dollars in a glass jar. I use it on water and feed days through-out veg and flower at a rate of 2 tablespoons per gallon of water. I have a few dozen girls every cycle that prove its worth in gold. It adds a great sweet taste to every bud. I haven't tested it, but I would swear it adds to the weigh significantly. Molasses is a great source of natural sugars which all plants need when producing flowers, seed, or pollen. It also will not affect your ph levels when used alongside a good nutrient line. I use Advanced Nutrients so the ph leveling of it may also be a cause for the lack of increase or decrease in ph. Years ago I knew a guy that would pour it right on the soil before he watered. I have never heard of a reason not to use it. Good luck.

Lemon juice will lower the pH of your water/feed solutions, but your water/feeding solutions will soon buffer(within an hour)to your mediums pH. Growing in soil that is. Dolomite lime and worm castings in your mix from the beginning is how you control pH when growing in soil.

Plants do not use sugars from the soil. They make their own sugars during photosythesis. And to say you can add a sweet flavor to buds using molasses is too funny.....

first off your plants are starving for Phos
you worried about lowering your ph but in fact depending on how long you vegged i would guess soil ph is below 6.0 as it is

People read about adding molases into there gardens this is only for microorganisms which in turn breaks down nutrients for better uptake for the plant people got to realize that these herds will out grow many harvests so really theres no need to add
Now the Real reason people add it to there soils hydro etc
molases , honey , has many minerals an carbs in them so it will help for any plant defiencies thats the real reason if you want to add molasses specially in flower

Picture 038.jpgUN-Sulfured Molassas helps to encorage micro- organisms to thrive in your soil micros love sugars. micros in your soil help to break down those nutes that are NOT readily available to the plant roots. A teaspoon in a couple gal every couple of weeks will get the job done. sulfred molassas will not be healthy to your plants. NO sugar or micros grow in the sulfur. So many people out there talking and suggesting things they have no clue about. Also when you mix your molassas tea make sure you let your water sit over night to dissapate the clorine/ free clorimines from the water. Bleach also kills micro orginizms. I use Un-Sulfured molassas every time I feed, I make a nute tea from guano and worm castings, and molassas. I let it bubble with a fish pump and air stone for a few days, then feed directly, also you can strain "tea" and dillute by a 1/4 for folliar feeding but learn to do this before you attempt this. Try it out on a leaf or two first to avoid burning. If your just getting started let me suggest Greg Green's "The Cannabis Grow bible".

Preferably unsulphered Blackstrap (Plantations, Brer Rabbit). Blackstrap contains a higher concentration of potassium and minerals.

Picture 019.jpg "phos." Use bat guano, To blast your buds at the end of bloom with p-k try bloombastic all by itself, for tight, hard, heavy buds. Just try to keep your regiment simple. All the bottled this and that is really just a good marketers way of makeing you spend money. Everything found in thiose bottles can be found in basic amendments, without all the overdose, underdose, ph problems etc. Not to mention the salt build-up, the flushing at end of bloom all that crap. Simple Organic amendments man! Don't believe it check my photo album, those are not starved sad girls. peace
