Moving to Norcal to grow legally. Where is the best place for me?

Me and my brother are planning to move to somewhere in norcal to grow outdoors and indoors if possible. We both have experience growing and took classes at oaksterdam. I spent 4 months in oakland and fell in love with the bay area. Me and my brother will have about 40k saved up by January which is when we plan to move somewhere in norcal. We plan to be 100% legal and want to find the best location that has friendly growing laws and also private and secluded.

Good luck with that plan. Most counties have been passing bans on outdoor cultivation or putting major limits on growers. I've watched friends sell their house and move to a growing friendly county only to have that county change regulations. Now the ones who can grow at all are only allowed to grow a 10x15 foot garden on their big property when they can normally grow one plant that size with no restrictions. And they have to be under 6 foot. My county only allows the state default of 6 plants. A state with legal medical use would be safer than california with our current uncertainty in our laws. If the new bill Ab266 passes we may lose growing rights completely and have it taken over by big businesses.

Patients are not going to buy from big business. If legalization in California means patients are going to be forced to get sub par meds from big business, I'm willing to say it won't be voted in.
And to the op, id stay with your original plan. Get a job where you plan on moving (everyones hiring) and start your garden. If your main focus is getting super quality medicine to patients you'll do fine.

Most voters are ignorant to what the bill actually entails. I hope it doesn't pass but it fear it will. People are ready for legalization but the right bill needs to be passed that puts the rights in the hands of the growers. The one the state is pushing for takes our rights away. Vote no on AB266.

There are guy's way up north still raging it with 99....
Also lots of people being raided.

As far as I know these places have all banned outdoor.
Shasta
Tehema
Clearlake
Santa Cruz
San Juquine
Sacramento
Live Oaks

Other places like Chico have put crazy limits like 50 sq ft space limit for grows. And the enforcers are out hard giving fines and ripping plants.

As far as I know clearlake is still legal for at least 6 plants. They had it banned but I'm pretty sure it was over turned....Better be
