Mutant Strains: Mongy Weed, Dizzy, ABC (Australian Bastard Cannabis)

Im into breeding seed, especially strange varieties. I currently am working on a stable Snowryder X Ducksfoot strain (called Little Foot) that will, when it is done, reliably be webbed, autoflowering, and non- femenized- autos arent sold non- fem much anymore so I needed to breed my own automatic duck.

I'm always trying to curate and preserve these strains, not just create cool crosses though. In the rush to make high- THC hybrids in recent years, many unique strains and pure landraces have disappeared. I've been trying to track down a few more unique strains with little luck.

Has anybody ran into ABC, Dizzy, or Mongy Weed. It is some crazy stuff and is totally worth a quick google search to look at pics. Would love to get my hands on some if anybody has any information.

The mongy weed if it’s the one I’m thinking it is,we called bindi eye bud and was the worst pot I’ve ever come across,I can’t think of one trait it has that I would want to try and work into a line. It’s cool what you are trying to do but it really is shit weed,I think it was on CC mag years ago they came over here and took seed back with them to work with and came to the same conclusion

Yeah I have heard it is to work with. Nevertheless I would love to take a crack at it someday, if nothing else to preserve the genes. Even if it is low quality, maybe it can be crossed with something more potent like they did with autos years ago. Just a dream...

I haven’t seen it around in a few years but we are just coming into growing season I’ll have a look around and ask a few older guys to keep an eye out for it,if I hear anything I’ll try and grab some seed for you.
