My Grow Journal with LEDHydroponics Photon Pro 84 240W LED

Hi Peeps, Ive been away for a bit, but now am back with a grow journal already started; im using a 50x50x180 cab with diamond point mylar, BioBizzing everything, Soil,GrowemBloom and TopMax. Popped a Black Jack Auto in a 1L Airpot to go into a 20L airpot eventually. The lights im using are similar looking one to what you can get in china, but these component are all hand picked and are the best that china can offer. Anyway heres some pictures of my setup first ; More pics to follow shortly...stay tuned

Day 1, seed popped up in 2.5 days with light 8 inches from pot. Kept soil moist.

Day 5...plus I added two PC 12V DC fans to the back top of my cab......I had too move the lights up to 19inches aswell to stop stunting, not giving her any feed yet, what you all think? should I start feeding her at two weeks?

My supplier travels there to speak to his team about using the best electronics and spectrums, Ive got a 5 year warranty with him anyway, so no fuss, any parts needed, he posts within two days, Sorted. Im just a tester by the way, already got another type of light being tested and expecting the new Mixed array ones to test aswell.

So what is the best spectrum you have there?

At the mo im working with 440, 460, 525,630 and 660 but have just designed my own spectrum using different Nm's , more NASA stuff. Wont be getting them for some time yet, might put them into the mixed array ones im getting, decisions decisions....

No whites huh....fair enough. What sort of LEDs are you using? Lens? Driver(s)? silent fans? Lookz like a generic shell...?

Yup your bang on about the generic shell, it is, Im using Cree, Bridgelux and Epistar, x3 optic lenses @ 90 degress (due to my area) Drivers are specially designed ones with pulse modulation technology, one big fan, bearing silent fan. Might change it for a chrome one tho. Dust stick to the black plastic, chrome ones it doesn't as much, got a NZXT Airflow king PC with all NZXT Chrome Fans in it and its always quite clean.

Cool man....So the LEDs are hand picked? What sort of Crees did they select?

Yeah I can see what your getting at lol, better pick my words more carefully next time, handpicked means looking at the best gold connectors, the best heat sink in rear of LED, good quality glass dome etc....even down to the heat sink transfer paste (not as good as artic silver tho)
