Here is my new cabinet. Almost done. Need exhaust and intake fans.

48"W x 72"H x 20" D
400W HPS

This will be my second grow. I have 7 plants ready to move in to their new home. Big upgrade from my 1st cabinet.

Any comments/suggestions :joint:

This is going to be a flowering chamber. I can fit 24 plants in those white potting containers in there... I can raise the light probably 4-5 more inches.

Do you plan on flowering in the pots that are one the self? All looks pretty small and very tight, expecially for 24 plants. My area is about 3'x4' and I'm squeezing 8.

Ah the Store-it-all 48" from lowes right? I got the same one, i commend you for getting it together so well with so much of the internals gutted out, i had to build an internal skeleton from 2x2's just to get it to stand.

Yea it looks like the bottom, the shelf and the top need some bracing. Especially the shelf that the pots will set on. Once you get them in there, it is going to sag like hell. It looks like it would work for some short plants but not 24 of them.

It supports so well because I bought a thin plywood backing. I threw the Card board backing out. I thought it may get too hot for it. a potential fire risk. The top is bowing but it was doing that before I put the light in..It seems solid. So dose the shelf....I think 24 plants MAX. 3x8.. But 20 should fit in easily.

I added 2 100cfm computer fans for intake and exhaust. And next Im going to get a 200cfm inline 4" duct fan just to exhaust the light. My problem is light proofing it. My cabinet needs to be stealthy.

Id love to know how your temps are. I have a similar grow cab and my temps are in the high 80's. But i have an active air 265cfm exhaust fan on the way.

With the lights on. When it had no vents. Doors closed. got up to 105.
added the 2 vents and it holds in the low 80's now. with doors closed. I need to vent that light for sure.
