I have a lumatek 600 watt switchable ballast. I used pvc to build the frame of my hut and black and white plastic from the hydro store. Right now I have 2 45 watt cfl's on my plant till they get a little bigger unless you guys think I can just switch on the hps. I didnt know I bought a switchable ballast at first. So I do not have a mh light. I have a hps bulb that I will leave on for 18 hours on 6 hours off. My hut is about 4x2.5x6.5. Total cost to build the 50 bucks. I accidently bought the ff grow big for soil does it matter if I use it in hydro. I also didnt get enough material to make a door so this is what it will look like till tommorow . Here are some pics

I just picked up a 8" ecoplus inline duct booster 370 cfm cost 57 bucks. Wondering where I should put it. By the light, up top, or at the bottom? I have a dryer vent I can hook up to, to get fresh air from outside. Also made a aeroponics setup with filthy fletchs guide.

I would try to find a way to use the fan for exhaust from the top of the box.. Depending on the Static Pressure of the fan you can get tricky w/ the mounting. Do you have a way to run ducting out or in/without duting going accroos your room?

yeah right behind the my grow room is a 4 inch outlet or inlet for a dryer hookup.
Dude thats awesome 4" right behind it.. i would buy or make a reducer and expahust through that. I would put the fan whereever you have space..but run some intake ducting (for the exhaust fan) from the top...That being said it may be easier to put the fan up top next to the light as you wouldnt be loosing any space and would only need one reducer.

I say use it as an exhause because you can use a passive intake from inside the house like on the bottotm of the door of the cab.. That way the air going in is relatively always the same temp and you will have consisitency.

If smell is not an issue outside where you vent it another reason to use that 4" as an exhaust...otherwise BUY a carbon filter. I know people make them but i have had better results withones i ourchased unless you have a carbon packer....
