So in looking for a gg4 in seed form I came across Mycotek’s back crosses. He has a few different backcrosses succesfully going up to a bx4. He also has “the perfect storm” which appears to be a bx1 crossed with a bx2. My question is, what does this all even mean for genetic stability or similarity to the original gg4? Would a bx4 be more susceptible to mutation than a bx1 x bx2?
