Nasty mold on rockwool...

I think its time for a major cleaning of my system. This is the first time I've had this much mold growing on my cubes? Plants were fine the entire grow but these cubes look like they've been through hell. Anyone ever had this happen before?

So I'm guessing you don't clean and sterilize your entire system between grows?

Typical cleaning after a grow consists of tray and res scrub (warm water only), rinse and clean pump, then run system in Hydrogen peroxide solution for a couple of hours. Maybe I was too light on the peroxide?

I have had soil grow white mold due too improper airflow but I didn't think this was a problem with Rockwool or coco

and people innoculate their soil to grow that mold haha

Wrap stays on during grow.

did you cover the tops of the cubes? like with panda film, etc

Yes. The soft block covers. You can actually see where the covers were.
