When I polinate a female plant with another strains pollen, it will make seeds. This I know and I have done quite a few times.
but if I were to try to stabilize out the genetics....I would have to back breed.
Now that isnt hard for me to understand.
What my question is, when i start back breeding to increase attributes for selective traits, How do I know what to back breed to? Ive heard some people talking about back breeding to mom, and some to pop.
That has me confused as fuck.
Like say you have a northern lights x white widow cross) Nl#5 + W.W
=Nl x W.W (F1)
but say I wanted to try and get the flavor of the northern lights more in the cross, What would I backbreed to, mom or dad?
Do you back breed to the one that you wanna get more traits from or what? And what would I need to back cross to in order to stabilize it
