Need Bubbleponic Facts

1st time using a air pump and air stones. First question is, after germination and rooted seed is placed in net pot w/ rockwool, how low should the water level be beneath the net pods? 2nd, what should the water temp be? 3rd, what temp should it be around the plants?[ example ] my room temperture is staying around 68 but i have a sensor mounted between plants at plant height under the lights and it's staying around 74. Of course i can lower or raise the temp around my plants just by lowering or raising the lights. 4th, should this type system have a humidity dome? 5th , how often does the water need changing? Please help so i can& get ., Thanks!!

I would put the water level an inch or so above the net pots until the roots come through the bottom. 62-68 degrees F for water temperature would be ideal. The lower the better as it helps create extra dissolved oxygen at an exponential rate as the temperature drops. Anything higher and you can get algae/bacteria problems. The room temperature should be around 75, but different strains respond differently. It also depends on if you are using CO2. Do not use a humidity dome unless its on germinating seeds or clones. Change the water once a week for best results.

Thanks ski, i just went to change the water and found algae on my air stones. I pretty much have the light sealed out but the water temp has been higher than what you said so thats probably why. I didn't know that would cause algae. You been a big help!!!!
