It looks like one of the ones where you pull up or push down the black bits around the edge. If it is you pull up all of the ones where you want the light to be on.

there is an arrow on the inside circle.
turn the dial until the current time of day is pointed at the arrow.
every tab represents 15 minutes.
push down tabs for when you want the timer to be on.
leave the tabs up for when you want the timer to be off.

i do believe it is the most standard timer on the market.
if you can't figure it out, quit growing before you burn the house down..

ok still confused and i am getting pretty god damn frusterated so don't help unless you know what the hell your talking about.

the only two things you can manipulate on this timer is the one and only dial with the 15 minute hash marks and there is a red switch on the side that you can turn to show I (for continuous) or a clock with a 15 minute section cut out.

Everybody is talking about posts, joint slices and bullshit, I just wanna know how to set it. From what i've got so far is you turn the dial clockwise to the time it currently is, and thats it

is anybody capable of helping?

Lol according to the site, which should be the most reputable source there are 15 min increment buttons. aka you push down buttons to turn off the light for that allotment of time.

Dont be gettin angsty..

EDIT_

Therefore the main time display or the ring in the center should have a array of buttons set up in a radial fashion around the rings. Therefore you depress buttons in which you want the light cycle off, or on not really sure..

If this is beyond you go to a local hardware and have them give you a crash course, but you might get some weird looks and laughs.
