heya

i recently switched my plants to flowering, you can see if you follow my journal link.

and 9 days in they had nute lock/deficiency and the plants werent drawing any water due to the PH being waaaay off.

my fault because i did not change the reservoir water. the EC levels were probably crazy as well.

as a result most of the plants withered . the fan leaves were the first to go.

the 3 plants are still alive.

however they have lost quite a bit of their plant material

should i put veg nutes in the next time i change reservoir?

or is there any other advice for me.

most of the pictures are in my journal thnx

Hi,

I looked at the pics and from what I see It looks like they need a rest. You can probably see they are stressed don't want to push it and have a herme right?

I would say flush for 2 days change water, flush for another two or three days, Then start back 1/2 strength nutes at a low Ph 5.5

Stay on flower nutes you don't want to confuse it more. Its time to grow buds. lower leaf natrually falls off anyway.

when u switched to 12/12 did u change ur nutes to bloom? if so whot e.c did u use? never give them a full feed! start them on about 0.5 e.c for the first 10days or so

yea i just feed like about half str bloom nutes + a quarter str veg nutes, then i PH the water to where i want it.

dont have an E.C meter so thats why i do a weekly res change just in case.

the bud sites seem to be growing again but the rest of the leaves are still pretty damaged.

I hope my plant will pull through.

is there a proper feeding cycle i should follow?

im feeding them a 2 parthydro nutrient from holland forge called plantastic

If you are using half strength nutes, ph is right and you still get burn then I think there is something else in the water. You say you dont have a PPM or EC meter. I would recomend trying some clean water like R/O or distilled.

did my plant go hermie?

oh god.

are those balls?

i suppose since this plant is in the same reservoir as my other 2 females..... its gonna be impossible to kill it off since all the roots are entangled..

im so fucked

can anyone verify pls?

i have never dealt with males before but i have seen a lot of posts. i think you can cut some of the balls off and save em. there should be pollen in them right now. as to the roots well i would just try to get as much of it out as you can. and always check after for dead roots. if done this and havent had any problems. if i see dead floatin roots i just pull em out. but i dont usually have anyproblems that i no of. i think youll be fine. just use your good judgement on what to do.

If I where you I wouldn't worry about harvesting any pollen. What the hell are you going to do with it? No, you want smoke right? Take a few clones from the females for your next grow.

If the roots are so tangled you would kill other plants you could strip all the leaf off and leave it. When it grows leaf back do it again. The root system wont die right away and rot. The other plants roots will overtake it but by then you will be ready to chop.

Either way you don't want those pods to open.
