hey guys, im growing with cfl lights and i am wondering if it is better to hang them down or on the side, i have them hanging down at the moment. 
need some cfl advise !

Hanging down, just will have to adjust it while it grows but its worth it cause honestly they get more light than the lazy route.
Curious, what CFL wattage you using? how many or how many plants?

yeah i got then hanging from a rack i made its easy to adjust them i only wanna grow a mini plant i got 2 24w cfl cool daylight 6500k to pretty much 50w just for 1 plant

oh and also 2 24w warm white 2500k lights for flowering, my mate grew a plant he go a full ounce of it so i will see how i go

and my grow box has silver foil and it is painted white so that helps to.

Actually, more light is produced from the sides of the bulb than from the tip or end.
Do you have reflectors on them?

Thats why i use a couple of the big tube CFL 300w hung vertically as supplement with my LED.
