Hi everyone, just found this site yesterday and it is everything I had hoped for, thank you all for taking the time to teach and discuss. So here's the deal, I'm new to this but I want to make some cash. As the final thing I want each harvest to bring me in 2-3 lbs of tomatoes. I really was mind set on getting a supercloset, or bloombox. Yet it looks like the yields are not close to bringing this in, and I can't afford to buy more than one of these crazy $$$ machines. So can anyone tell me how much room, lights, CO2, fans, etc, etc, everything I will need to bring in such yeilds? Also I only have a closet now b4 I move out, so was thinking of getting a growbox first then move out and start a real room. Please send me anything you can asap I want to start soon.

there is a growfaq that will answer most of those questions, as for how many plants you will need to harvest that quantity, well that all depends on the lighting, strain, and your knowledge on growing. i suggest a smaller grow especially if this is indeed your first try.

I agree with "'sauce". At this point you can't do to much reading/studying. There are many fine articles on the web and many of your questions are related to funds and only you know what the limit is there. You can get cooling units if the area gets to hot, or venting units. If you have a local grow shop they can frequently give ya a lot of help and specific info related to your first crop of tomatoes. Are ya going to make sauce??? Juice??? Salads??? LOL GL HH

I think you could probably get about 1.5 lbs out of the BC Northern Lights Producer after some practice with the right strain. I have the Bloombox, but I am on my first grow so I don't know what my yield will be like. I've got 9 AK47 plants in the veg chamber right now and I'm hoping for at least 12oz. For the kind of harvest that you're looking for, check into a HydroHut or HomeBox and some DWC buckets.

Thanks everybody, this is a great help. I'm going to put up some pics of my grow space, cuz damn after reading this site for a day straight I think I'm more confused than I was at the begining, but I guess 1 step back 2 steps forward.
