You could very easily just run one of those lights until the plants get bigger.
that is true i plan to make this a flower room reason why both are setup now.. they are dimable so they are turned way down.. this just happens to be my start so i figured start in here.

i could carry the res and rinse it anyways.
Well this might prove difficult to do once you have plants flowering in there. Generally I trellis my buds to hold the weight up, I use horti-trellis plastic stuff not the stretchy string shit that leaves fibers in your flower. I wouldn't want to have to move the res or even move the lid if I can avoid it. So having a drain line plumbed into the tote with a shutoff valve might prove helpful. This way you can pump it down from the outside of the res using the normal magdrive pump setup for inline instead of submerged.

Might need to bring the humidity up some if you start to see anything, but if there ok you might be fine. I've had to adjust depending on the strain. Other than that I think it looks good. I drain mine the same way but I got this for my pump to get it as low as possible.

that is true that would make it difficult to do in flower with a trellis. i wasnt even thinking about that..

I'm using 17 gallon totes with about 12 gallons of water. I use to flush ever week and that got expensive on the nutes. So I started trying what I've read about and just balance the ph and ppm and topped off with nute water or just phed ro water depending on the ppm reading as they drink and the water evaporates.
