new seedlings need some advice, first grow

so these are my babies, i planted the germinated seeds into natural coco coir exactly a week from today, 3 out of 4 came up. now i have 2: 100 watt daylight cfls with 2: 60 watt cfls about 5-6 inches away i took away one 100 watt just because i feel as if there burning my seedlings or something now i dont know if im just over thinking so i need some advice.

it would be pretty darn hard to give seedlings light burn without an hid light. that being said backing off the light for the first week or so is just fine, not because they might burn but because they just dont utilize much light until they have a few leaves to do so. your air temps and humidity are what you need to be concernd about. temps in the high 70's and 50% humidity is ideal for babies.

low 80's is fine. over 85 is where you start to risk heat stress. and vegging plants seem to handle heat better than budding plants, at least in my experience
