New to Rollitup, future hydro grower read

Whats up forum, im new here. Just registered this morning, i plan on being online here alot.

well i was wondering if i could get some help here, I am going to be recieving a hydro clone later today or tommarow. So to get to the point im trying to figure out what all supplies i need just for growing in my lair (bedroom) or in my closet space.

This will be my first time growing a weed plant and i plan on keeping a journal when i get everything together.

some of the supplies i already plan on getting includes:
- Foxfarm nutrients along with some seaweed extract and molasses

I'm not sure what pots, soil or any thing to get so if someone could share some knowledge or shine some light in this that would be fantastic!

Here's my E-Z clone recipe.
1/4oz Hygrozime
1/4oz Power Clone (Botanicare I think)
1/4oz Roots Excellurator (kind of expensive)
This is for 8gal of water. (make sure it's R.O.)
After I take my clones I dip them in rooting gel. I know it gets washed off but it's habit. I only mist once, the first day. Hope that helps.

Pretty much any hydro store should have this stuff. Here's one I use.
GreenCoast Hydroponics, Hydroponic Systems - Grow Lights, Advanced Nutrients and Green Air Products

would you say its easier to grow in soil or hydroponics?

I like them both. Both are easy although hydro is more work. You gotta see whats best for you. If you leave your grow for more than 3 days (vacation) You should go with hydro. Another thing to think about is getting the soil in and out of your grow area. When I did soil I was able to pull into my garage and mix the soil in there. If you live in a apartment it's hard to move the soil without drawing attention.

What kind of light are you going to use?

Well i live in a house so it all that doesn't matter about all that.

I've been looking into useing an "earthbox" to grow inside with.
The light i plan on useing is a 400 wt cuz thats what i been reading other people use.

Thats way too much to light to clone. Use a fluorescent to clone. Once you plant them put them under the 400w.

well i'm getting the clone itself i'm not cloneing any thing myself.
