Hi guys I am new to this site and I wanted to get you opinion on m set up. I am growing in a 13 1/2 x 7 1/2 foot room. I am running 4 raptor 6" 1000 watt HPS lights. I am using 12 27 gallon totes with 6 4" net pots each, the system is a aeroponics Deep Water Culture hybrid system that holds 150 gallons of water. Each tote has 6 180 degree HI pressure sprayer run off of a 800 gph HI pressure pump. The System recirculates the nutes and water to the main reservoir. I will be growing 72 plants of Jeorge's Diamonds clones in SCROG. I have a 2 ton Mini Split A/C heat pump system to heat and cool running a closed system. The room stay's between 69 and 78 degrees. This will my second grow in this room. The first one I did SOG. This will be my first SCreen Of Green. I am including some pictures and Diagram of the room. Any tips observations and Comments would be greatly appreciated.

You won't need much veg with that many plants.
You plan to chill the nutrients? How deep you plan to run?

You should put a fan up there on those ballasts. That model gets hotter than any other model. They will cook themselves up there.
I am going to add a chiller and run the water in the low 60's. The net pots sit about 6 inches above the water but there is a constant spray of water/nutes on each net pot. I am using General Hydroponics flora micro grow and bloom three step system. I used half the room last time and a SOG and produced around 5lbs.

1 more light . I would place 4 lights in the 4 corners and 1 in the middle. if I had to do it that way. if I had a choice I would do less plants . lower light lights tops 2 feet away from plants so I could get big yields. your number is the same as mine. but I grow mine to monsters and stage them im harvesting every 2 weeks pulling average 20 zips every 2 weeks. with almost the same power you are using . doing it your way will pull much less. and take 2 times as long. how are you going to get 72 baby plants ? buy clones ? or plant 72 plants. you need to have a mother plant to take cutting off of. and clone them and veg and flower. stage them. this is my opinion. what ever you decide is the correct way you are the boss. you know what is the best in your situation. other advice is keep that water cool don't chance root rot kill then entire harvest.
I could do one more light. I have another room with 6 big healthy momma plants to cut clones from. I have purchased a 1hp chiller I will install this weekend. I have put my lights on pulley system so I can raise and lower the lights with a crank.
So are you doing a SOG?

well yes and no. I veg and throw into flower. my finish height is about 5 to 6 foot tall on the strand im doing now. raptor hood 8 inch 6 plants per light 600 watts. I top the plants to get about 8 tops each and cut the bottoms off. and use bamboo poles to hold he branches straight up. no screens or nets . here. other house tomato cages . other house bit of both. just depends on the room I have available .
