So Ive just been trying to come up with plans for this space i have. I was thinking metal pvc, and then roll some plastic and a shade thing up and roll it down the pvc when i want shade or green room. But then the sides are completely open. Wondering what you guys think i should do. I dont have alot of money to spend on it but idk i can always spend money on stuff over time.

Its on a balcony on the back of the house. Damn thought i had the measurements of the spot but guess not.

Anyway any ideas on how i should get myself started off? Are there places that build custom green house kits? Thanks

pvc and semi transparent plastic sheeting is what i use. works great. just dont let it get too hot.

nah cant use pvc, tried that already and its too wobbly and being on a pretty windy balcony its blows over, so much so that the plastic ripped off the pvc and we had to throw away the pvc, thnx tho

wind is also my worst enemy. aluminum tubes? the ones with the little push button locks at the end? try tying it to the rails of your balcony.

ill look into those tubes u mentioned, but nah it was so funny, the plastic was blowing sooo loud it was annoying, then the plastic ripped off the pvc, and then one part of the pvc came off, and thats with the plastic all stapled and with the pvc nailed and tied down lol

also can some one give me a link to what plastic i should buy, cuz i have no idea ppl are like get green plastic, then some ones like anti UV light plastic or some shit lol

just painters floor plastic. dont screw with the color, plants aappreciate the full spectrum. UV light has a lot of natural energy in it so i wouldnt block it out. mine is semi transparent for a lil extra privacy. grommets in the holes you cut will prevent it from tearing in the wind.

and p.s...mabey a plastic greenhouse isnt such a great idea if you live in the middle of a hurricane...j/k. but seriously you may never be able to escape the wind issue.
