Newb Ordering Seeds

Hey all, I am planning on ordering some seeds from Nirvana. I have grown once before, however it was a couple years ago and it appears since then, at least one case of legal action beyond a letter in the mail has been taken against seed buyers in the US. Being the careful and paranoid type of grower, this news was pretty disturbing to hear. I would like to know what measures/precautions I should take when ordering my new seeds. If I can avoid setting up a PO box, that would be great, but I do realize having the seeds sent to my residence (which is what I did my first time growing) is a bad idea. Any information you could give me based on seed buying experiences would be great. Thanks!

Whats up Iceman, I just ordered 10 big bud seeds from Nirvana. I used my real address and real name and everything went fine. It took about 2 weeks to get my seeds and it was pretty stealthy. From what Ive read Nirvana is pretty reliable so I wasnt too paranoid or worried about getting in trouble. Hope this helps and good luck with your grow.

I ordered from Nirvana 2 weeks ago, got package yesterday but without seeds, customs got to them, I got everything else but seeds. They left a note too heh, saying "illegal" things were found and confiscated . Emailed Nirvana, waiting for reply. Hopefully I didn't just lose the seeds.

Interesting, so your order was confiscated yet you still only got a note. The cases I heard about where legal action was taken against seed buyers must have been extremely large orders or something, I just couldn't see such time and effort being put in to bust someone ordering a very small amount. Sorry to hear your seeds were taken though .
I am leaning towards having them sent to my house since I am not ordering much.

I think you'll be fine Iceman, if your not ordering a huge amount I doubt you will get in trouble.
