i've had roughly 20 seeds in just a zip loc now for about 3 months, they seem fine, nice and green. I just recently planted some and they are doing fine. I'm not sure the MAX time the seeds will last. Try not to expose them to air/water etc.

Thank you for the reply. Now I have a new question, what is the cheapest lighting I can get, that works, to grow Just 2 Plants?

I have heard of people growing with seeds they have had for 3 years. Basically what happens is the seeds are dormant until they are given the right conditions, then they germinate. That is just natures way of keeping the species alive.

As long as your seeds are not rotten, they should germinate. However, older seeds may take more time to germinate that younger seeds, but after that the plants should be just fine.

The absolute cheapest lighting you can get is the sun, and I don't feel qualified enough with indoor growing to give you advice on light.

Sorry I can't help you more.

I'm going for the record, I have six "White Rhino" seeds that are 4 and half years old, they've been soaking for about 4 days now, and now just starting to open up! Hope they survived!:joint:
