Noise from fans/pumps

Not having carried out a grow before I was just wondering how much noise does it all make? If I were to use a couple of rvk 100 fans and a few submersible pumps how much din would it all make, would it be a nuisance if I was sleeping in the same room as the box? I can see that the RVKs make 40Db noise each from 3M away and these woudl prob be up above the room which is insulated so this will deaden the sound somewhat.

I got 3 different fans in my room and you can def tell they are on if you pay attention, doesnt mess with sleeping but it would if it was in the same room I sleep in. My room is right next to the one I sleep in.

yeah must agree with Air, i sleep next door to my grow room and can deffo tell when the fan is, but you get used to it after a couple of weeks and you won't even notice it when its on...

there are some smaller and quieter fans out there......i usually only hear my timers clicking away.
