Strain Is Humboldt OG Kush...

My first Indoor Grow.

Ph is 6.8 using distilled water with fox farm trio and cha ching when its time...

Grow box made out of wood wrapped with foil... 30x27 by 4 feet tall, one fan inside the box to circulate air and a computer fan pulling outside air in.. also have a vent taking air out with a pipe shooting it to my bathroom window...

Using 7- 100 watt equivalent 6500k cfl, 3 over each plant probably 2 inches away, the other with a reflector angled to both plants and one 105w 6500k in middle of the two at plant level... its bright in there....

one is 3 weeks old, the other 4 weeks old.. just a week apart wasnt sure if i wanted to do both seeds....

been dealing with some heat up to 88 degrees when im at work and 75 when im home cuz i turn on my window AC, just got central air today so the house will be at 75 from now on for good, my humidity stays at about 40-45....

any suggestions, comments are welcomed

Some suggestions I'd make:

You said its wrapped in foil. If you mean aluminum foil then you'll probably get better results painting the inside of the box with FLAT white. White reflects color spectrum well. If you mean mylar, then that's fine. It just gets dirty and can be a pain in the ass. Flat white paint is probably the easiest.

As far as the heat goes... hopefully the central air will fix that problem.

In a small box like yours, depending on the strain, you'll probably not want to veg for too long. When you flip the lights to 12 then they're still going to have a growth spirt. If they get too tall you can start tying them down or tilting the pots. You'll figure something out as you spend time with your girls.

Good luck to you. Let us know how everything turns out.

Thank you for your input.... I have no expectations for this grow as it is my first... anything the two ladies would give me is more than appriciated...(fem seeds)...

I will go ahead and get some flat white paint and give that a go... the heat I believe will be taken cate of as my vent is shooting the air straight to the box and my bed.... overnight it dropped to 70 degrees and my highest yesterday was 79..

I had planned to flip the switch the wednesday that is coming up... plan to leave the l05watt 6500k up top in the center and change the rest to 2700k and wait for her to show me the goods before I give the other 7 definite spots and I also have a huge 150watt 2700k that I will hang in between the two..

Is my humidity ok at 40-45?

If it was a little more humid that would be ideal for vegging, but for flowering, which is where your plants will spend most of its time, that should be fine. If you have too much moisture in the air, you increase your chance of getting moldy buds.

And dont be too surprised if you grow some great plants your first round. I remember years ago on my first grow. I got some Northern Light seeds from Amsterdam and they turned out amazing. Sure there was a lot I could have done to increase yield that I didn't know about, but over all it was a success and I was happy. Good luck to ya!

Just Treat the ladies with love and they will treat you good come harvest time
The biggest thing I learnt was that these plants are very resilient! I don't know ow many times I bent and broke branches, taped up and they survived. Even went 5 days of dark and they came back!
Be patient, read and ask advice, they' be fine!
