Get an early strain. My earlybird this year is going to be Mendocino Madness from TH Seeds.

If you were that worried and wanted to finish earlier you could grow some autos too,

I use pro-mix BX 3.8 compressed bails, 1 bail does 2 holes at 25 gallons a piece. I use Fox Farm Marine Cuisine throughout the season and liquid feed once a week. Do yourself a favor, start stock inside now so you can sex them and have female clones ready for the comming season.


As far as how much can 2 people harvest? How hard do you want to work?

Well this year, about 13 Lbs. Lost a few to rot and mold.

This last season rained more than it didn't. I did this all by myself, mostly. Had some family help here and there, especially the trimming.


Choppers scare the fuck out of me. There are mostly small aircraft, single engine planes from a local airport. Just don't plant something that resembles a corn field in the middle of no where.



The more patches and plants the less it will hurt overall taking casualties. Small things help. I have portable scanner with an earpiece tuned to the local police chatter when making drops to see if anyone reports suspicous behavior.
I also always cary a fishing rod, just looks good.

ive found that pretty steep and inconvenient hills work pretty well(south facing is best o.c.)(from 35-60degree's) some palces are really rocky and have small tree's that grow red buds.nest summer im using these tree's to help blend in afew plants(ill find a pic of it to show you, if it grows near you id say use it to your advantage) in the fall the plants red buds(around the size of king cans) turn darker and dry out so it will hide your big buds even better....
i say grow some auto's(even if your doing a reg. strain grow,throw some auto's down,)
if you plant 10 auto's(regular/not fem'd) and let the males pollinate the girls(they sex at 2-4 weeks old) let the males stay for about a week/then kill them, the girls will grow buds with seeds(duh,lol) 2 months from seed you have 1st harvest... only harvest the main bud(leaving the bottom buds on branches and shake the hell out of them so they drop their seeds all around'em,lay 1/2 inch of soil or cocoa(whatever your using) to cover the seeds,within afwe weeks they should be popping up for the 2nd go of the year(much more auto-plants then the original 4(if you only got 4 females from 10beans....))unfourtunatly you get seeded bud this way but the second round if you kill all males before pollination you'll have some sinsemillia buds(seedless weed) there's a kind of auto made specifically for doing this and taking over area's(ill try to find it agian) but any auto will work(or reg plant but that takes seasons not months)
PEACE ill post some things to keep in mind later.

some tips
-compost!!!!!!!!!!!!!feeds,helps retain water and oxygen...mix some in the soil at the start, make a high P compost at flower just put around the base and water in
-deerfence or burlap walls 3-4ft tall and afew feet away from the plants so light will still hit the bottom branches and animals cant just eat from over the fence.
i know deer,rabbits and other animals (& asshole chipmunks)love eating cannabis,lastyear it would have been wise to pick some up,i lost more than half my plants and afew were really ugly(in my gallery is 2 of the 5 that i got to chop,)all becouse of dear and a chipmunk..lol
-if your plants need to stay out longer build a hoophouse(easynefficient greenhouse) you can make one just for the finishing weeks if it's too rainy(or for the whole season of coarse)
-fish oil products are great for making very strong plants (ferts and/or foliar sprays many can be used for both)
also it makes animals not want to eat it and helps against mold......the stuff is worthy i need to get some.
-burlap can be cut in strips(4-10inch,aslong as need be) and hung above the grow,criss crossing with 1ft-1.5ft in between so light will still get through.i saw this on a guys test's on hiding guerilla grows,he even has a plane and looks for his grows so he can find what works)ill be trying this method(possibly above a small hoophouse)
-mulch,hay works(best if it's old and been in weather also full of N) you can use alot of things for mulch it stops other plants from growing near yours,so you have optimal root space.
I am very happy this thread was made, i want to learn more about guerilla growing in canada. next year ill have a hoophouse and afew small guerilla plots,i cant wait to grow auto's outside. i want to try an outdoor sog,plant 2-3 every week,after 2 months it's chop afew every 2 weeks...sounds like a fun summer of NOT buyin bud and then when fall comes ill have afew reg strains to chop(if all goes as planed) i want to keep vegging a plant i have now(2months old) and then plant in spring,it's already 2ft and bushy im thinking i can have a monsters out there....
PEACE keep up the good canadian nug producing-we need to show people what Canada has to offer.great pot,girls,beer,land,water&lots of water(we truly are spoiled when it comes to finding water sources)

also how north can people grow? a friend of mine lives very north(nunavut) he says their summer has a good 2 months of warmth so im giving him afew auto-beans to try in pots.(pot's places in the middle of big blackberry bushes so they wont be as noticeable)

most my places will be accesable from water,and where we dock we walk on rocks(the great canadian sheild)
any experience on islands? i know afew great islands that have no people but the wind would be an issue for half of them...lol
i cant wait for spring!! honestly put a hoophouse in though, about $30-$50 for a 6ftx12ft spot,that will fit abunhc of autoes and you can probly have 3 harvest in the year.
PEACE goodgrowing goodluck and remember not matter what those arent your plants!!!!!, if your caught with chopped fresh plants(hope not) you found'em growing naturally and thought "what a waste if they just sat there rotting"...lol

man if you need to get them in the ground early just start them in the house and then get them out as soon as possible i had to do that alot in mn when i lived thier and make a small tent over them like small green house to keep early spring chills at bay . also get some seeds that are early as well every seed company just about has early girl seeds gl

gonna start from seed soon and "weed" out my best girls for clones and put them out the first week in june cause we usually get 1 last storm at the end of may. then its into my pre dug, organic- goodness filled holes lol to start their journey into tree-dom ha ha.

do it up, if you can veg your clones acouple weeks before putting them out they'll have a higher living rate.im probly going to put a 2ft topped bush in spring and treating it like a god(i will grow 1 plant on my fathers property,with permision.he said do 5-10,but i want 1 beast there.let the numbers go other places) also a good thing to do is after your clones larger, take 2-3 clones off each plant everymonth and put them around the plant it was taken from,any clone you take before natures flowering will be a big bud.(and the smaller ones tightly packed around the larger one make it look like bushes,not a bunch of pot plants.from a distance that is,lolwho would have thought mroe is better?)

with the size of holes your talking on filling, all organic you will have some tree's on your handstre-dom lol that one got me
will you have a little journal on it?im deffinatly going to keep track of my outdoor excursions (just a tip,with most people it's best to perceive you have less,alot of ppl. on here grow alot of weed, if i grew lb's i would claim that im growing one or 2 and only show those plants in the journal)lol
just so if 5-0 were on here they would see you as a persy grower and not racking the lb's(not saying thats your goal)
i have a guy with 10 acres and he wants to grow alot on it, im trying to convince him start less plants(he has had 2 devistating fails)
he wants me to help him,im thinking "apprentice" him on his property? he isnt the brightest person but a good workhorse and has the finances to do it.
im pretty much telling him dont start with 100's do 10 regular strain plants, and afew auto's so he can get the feel of growing before the season is up....
what do you guys think i should do? he seems to want like 20-30 10x10 plantations on his property (already has 1510x10fails)and even after failing wont admit it is toomuch for him to handle.his biggest problem is animals and he doesnt even know it,couple hundred bucks in deer-fence and he would have had most his plots succeed lastyear.lol i hate the misfourtune in it...im probably going to help him but if i do it's for half the harvest.i dont fuck around

cant wait for spring, there is somuch potential for potent potit's pefrect living in canadai may never leave this country again.......
going to go live in the bush and grow tons,every year ill go to town with my bud and sell it to live in a hotel for month before going back to the home with new supplies.....everyday i consider how nice it would be to live like that.lol with auto's i could even visit in the summer...
