Northern Lights#5 is indica...but look at my plant, it's sativa?

So I've seen many northern light pictures, but in here I've noticed lately, since it's 2 1/2 foot mark, it's starting to look more and more like sativa. Part of me says it still looks like it has indica characteristics. From the very start it looked like a hybrid, half and half, but as it's aging, I'm afraid it's sativa. Don't get me wrong, I love sativa, better than indica infact unless I'm trying to watch tv and am going to bed... Ohio has a short growing period so sativa wouldn't outlast the season...

I just took some pictures today while making major changes. Check out my grow in my signature for more pics. I'll be working on that post here in a few minutes.

Northern lights is suppose to stay short and grow slowly, this is just unreal... It is in a huge 7G bucket that's about a foot tall but this lady comes up to my chest, making me proud but worried.

Who is the breeder of your N.L. #5? I grew B.C. Bud Depot's NL #5 for a number of years but I don't think it's available thru them anymore. You may have an inbred one, by someone else, which will lead to more variation. Looking at your pics, it looks nothing like what I use to grow- NOTHING!
 
I'm pretty sure NL has some sativa in it's genetics ,sativa phenos may be rare but they do exist.probaly gonna be an awsome high.

Another thing! Look at these pictures. Now go to my grow signature and look at pics 1-5, same as these, then flip to picture 6, bam! Both of those were from the same 10-pack of Nirvana NL#5...

Fuck! I looked at my breeder. It's NL x Haze. Mostly sativa with a flowering period of 10-12 weeks.... Is it possible to harvest a few weeks early if needed and still get a fantastic high?
 
Sweet dude nl haze is supposed to be awsome.. They are suppose to get massive to , so massive yeild! But i also read that it only puts on its weight late on so you may lose alot of weight harvesting early..also its suppose to be insanely heady ,so an early harvest may make it too heady..
 
Nl5xHZc is some of best smoke ever.
Far better than NL alone

But nl5 is suposed to have a bit of Thai in her.

I got one female from old 80s "the seed bank" stock.
Made a good fem seed run with her and can't wait tell the clones are done.

Ps I don't believe Bcsc,dr atomic or bohdi's nl5 are legit. But any thing is possible..

I'll have to look at the frost date right now but if worse comes to worse, I'll bring it inside for the night then put it outside to get sun. The thing is that is going to be a total BITCH carrying the huge tub back to my spot. I'll have an apartment within the next month or so, so I'm not worried about having people that live with me see it, just general population.

The head high makes me laugh more and focus. They make me alive and free. I don't care much for indica unless it has some upper effects so I can actually have a conversation, laugh, do things etc. speaking of that, this is some pretty good indica I've got burning right now that isn't too stoney, I try to only smoke indica before bed as it's fantastic for sleep (: CRAZY VIVID DREAMS
 
So, it's Sensi's NL 5 X Haze......some of the best smoke available if you can wait it out. It's been around forever, and it's great/ But, it grows to be a monster- top them often and flower early is my suggestion.

I got a pack of 10 regular northern lights from nirvana seeds

Either they mixed something up, or maybe by chance when I had a freebie going called Critical mass 33 by CH9 Seeds and I didn't keep a very good track on my plants, shifting them around and what not, so the one I thought was Critcal Mass died when my plants were starting off due to sunburn.

whether that came from a bag marked nl5 or not, it's not nl5
it'd be like if i rented a broken down pizzza hut and started selling hamburgers inside
no matter how delicious the burgers may be, that ain't no fucking pizza hut

I can't speak of the others, but as much as I HATE Bcsc, their N.L. #5 was fine. It's just that they don't sell it anymore. I grew it for a few crops and people loved the potency.

nirvana do there breeding outdoors and to me, the differant strains are grown too close together so you can easily get cross polination of strains

There nl5 x nl2 from there stick is still available a few other places and yeah there nl was legit
