Northern Lights Auto prep

I'm going to do 2 Northern Lights Autos in my 2x4. Soil I have is Black Gold All Purpose and I pick up the 70/30 FF coco/perlite mix yesterday. I have no experience with coco. I was just going to mix just a small ratio to the soil. I believe I need to start the beans in just regular soil and then add coco after? I'm not going to use much of it until I have more experience but I have to start somewhere. I really don't know what the hell to do with starting in what pots, cups, forever pots because they're autos. This will be my 2nd run indoor, first run with autos. I currently have a Purple Cake Photo 36 days into flower (2-27-22) Sunday. I'm using two HLG 100 watt Rspec lights. All I can afford for now. Growing in a 5 gallon bucket with holes drilled on sides. So far so good. I've had no issues luckily as a new grower. I will attach photos or the Purple Cake but my main concern is should I stick with what I'm familiar with as in soil/nutes or does the autos need a different approach? I really need help with the whole rundown with starting, growing the autos. They're Northern Light fem Auto beans I bought from New420Guy (Paul P.) Please help and thank you to anyone in advance. I'm a new grower for sure and still need help. Photos are of the Purp Cake Photo I have in my space. Using Tiger Bloom on it. Mike Benneig

Autos will be the same, Coco isn't a good mix for a good soil. Try one or the other, if you mix it's more like a soil not Coco. Nice plants.

I'm just lucky with the plant. Thank you for the compliment!! You'd laugh if I'd show you how I started out. I knew nothing last September when I started.

It's not exactly hard, I prefer soil and it's ease of use. Get some cash and upgrade, enjoy.

I think your exactly correct about the mix needing to be treated as a soil. Im running it currently 35/35/20/10 ffof, coco, perlite and earthworm casting. Haven't needed water for a few days. Waiting for the leaves to droop a lil. Had to water daily in coco/perlite. And my ffof was to hot so I wanted to cut those nutes in half.
